Yukiwari-ichige (ユキワリイチゲ, 雪割一華)
Lifeform: perennial forb with 20-30 cm tall, spring ephemeral
Distribution: endemic to Japan (Kyushu and south to Shiga Prefecture in Honsyu)
Habitat: mesic and wet forest floors and edges near streams
Leaf: three leaflets, purple backside
Rhizome: creeping
Chromosome number: 2n = 28
Synonyms:

Tamuria keiskeana (T. Itô ex Maxim.) Starodub.
