Reproductive success of individual flowers is one of the important factors that influences population dynamics. In flowering plants, interaction between pollinator and plant often effect greatly on reproductive success and result of reproduction is mainly indicated by seed set. Population dynamics affected by various environmental factors and growth of population is indicated by population growth rate (the difference between birth rate and dead rate). However,direct effect of plant-pollinator interaction on population growth has rarely been studied.
In this study, we investigated two populations of Corydalis ambigua visited by different pollinators to evaluate the effects of plant- pollinator interaction on population dynamics through seed production.
