Negundo-kaede (ネグンドカエデ/トネリコバノカエデ)
Native to North America. This means it is exotic to Hokkaido.
Of maple species, this species grows relatively faster, and is short-lived.

On Hokkaido University Campus in the fall of 2004, many Boxelder trees were blown down in a typhoon.
We can see typical maple seeds, i.e., winged seeds, were produced. On September 19 2007.
