Lifeform: succulent, herbaceous annual (or biennial)
Habitat: sandy and gravelly beaches
Distribution: exotic, firstly reported from Murakami City, Niigata Prefecture, 1982 (Asai 1982)


Cakile edentula in Hokkaido

Cakile Cakile
The plants were taken at Higashi-Kunebetsu Coast in the city of Hokuto, southern Hokkaido, Japan, on August 4 2008. Now, this species is widespread along the coast.
