Oomatsuyoigusa [オオマツヨイグサ, 大待宵草]

Lifeform: usually categorized into biennial forb (changeable)
Habitat: sunny sites, such as sandy or gravely beaches
Distribution: originally from north America, now naturalized worldwide (exotic to Japan)

Oenothera erythrosepala Borbas (Magyar Bot. Lapok 2:245. 1903)

All species in Oenothera are exotic to Japan. At least 14 specie have immigrated, but four major species are descirbed in the book.
