Momijibasuzukakenoki (モミジバスズカケノキ, 紅葉葉鈴懸ノ木)

Lifeform: deciduous tree
Distribution: transplantation (non-native to Japan)

Platanus L.

We call all species platanus. That makes confusion.

P. occidentalis L. (アメリカスズカケノキ/プラタナス)
P. orientalis L. (スズカケノキ/プラタナス, oriental planetree)
P. x acerifolia (Aiton) Willd. (モミジバスズカケノキ/プラタナス)

probably a hybrid of P. orientalis and P. occidentalis
Synonyms: P. × hispanica Muenchh., P. × hybrida Brot.
