Ichii (イチイ, 一位), also we call Onko (オンコ) in Hokkaido

Lifeform: evergreen shrub/tree
Distribution: native to Japan, Korea, northeast China and southeast Russia
Habitat: mainly in mountainous regions
Seed dispersal: endo-zoochore (animal)
