Common name: chisima-azami (チシマアザミ, 千島薊), or Ezo-azami (エゾアザミ, 蝦夷薊): note that Cirsium yezoense is Sawa-azami (サワアザミ), not Ezo-azami

Distribution: Sakhalin - Hokkaido (except in Oshima Peninsula?) - Kamchatka - Aleutian Islands
