Habitat: grasslands and disturbed sites, such as roadsides Leaf: face = shiny, back = hairy Chromosome number: 2n = 38 Synonyms: Gamochaeta coarctata (Willd.) Kerguelen ⇒ when established this genus Gamochaeta spicata (Klatt) Cabrera Gnaphalium coarctatum Willd.
