Lifeform: evergreen short tree < 10 m in height
Distribution: native to southeastern Australia (transplanted to south to Kanto District in Japan, reported during Meiji Era)
Habitat: highly tolerant to drought
Branch: long and pendulous
Physiology: nitrogen-fixing (by Frankia)
