Tsurubosba (ツルソバ, 蔓蕎麦), Chinese knotweed

himetsurusoba (ヒメツルソバ, P. capitatum), soba (ソバ, P. fagopyrum)

Lifeform: evergreen, perennial forb
Distribution: east Asia, incluidng Japan (south to Izu Peninsula)
Habitat: forest edges and grasslands (near sea coasts)
Flower stalk: developing glandular hair
Use: groundcover, gardening, and edible seeds
Synonyms:
