Lifeform: annual forb
Distribution: widespread in the Nothern Hemisphere
Habitat: roadsides, crop fields, etc.
Chromosome number: 2n = 22
Vein: 7-15 pairs → P. lapathifolium = 20-30
Flower: flowering from May to October
Synonyms:

Persicaria lapathifolia (L.) Delarbre var. incana (Rth) H. Hara, often used
Persicaria scabra (Moench) Moldenke
