Lifeform: volubile, deciduous, perennial forb
Distribution: south and southeast China (introduced to Japan in Edo Era)
Habitat: scrub, thickets and streamsides
Sepal = 6 ↔ C. patens = 8
Use: gardening → cultivars: alba, bicolor or sieboldiana
