Yucca L. (イトラン)
Senjuran (センジュラン, 千寿蘭), Spanish bayonet, aloe yucca and dagger plant
Life form: evergreen, perennial shrub tree (4-6 m tall)
Distribution: Atlantic and Gulf Coasts of USA - Yucatan coast - Bermuda - Caribbean
Habitat: on sandy soils, represented by sand dunes along the coasts
Use: ornamental (drought-tolerant), gardening, landscape plant, and others
Cultivars
cv. marginata (キンポウラン, 金宝蘭), yellow leaf margin

introduced to Japan in the middle Meiji Era (fruiting in Japan was firstly reported from the Koishikawa Botanical Garden

cv. variegata (サンシキセンジュラン, 三色千寿蘭), white stria on the leaves
