Lifeform: summergreen fern
Distribution: widespread in the Northern Hemisphere (not in Japan)
Habitat: damp, shady woodland, etc.
Chromosome number: n = 40
Use: gardening
Recently this species is split into two species (or two varieties)
A. angustum (Willd.) C. Presl, narrow lady fern
A. asplenioides (L.) Roth, southern lady fern
