[1] near a crater created by the 2000 eruptions of Mount Usu (有珠山) on October 16 2002. This species is considered basically to be a coastal plant. ⇒ Flora on Mount Usu. [2] at Kunebetsu seacoast, southern Hokkaido, on September 22 2010. [3] established on tephra (pumice) that was produced by the 1929 eruption of Mount Koma at Sunasaki Coast (砂崎海岸) close to Mount Koma on July 22 2011. [4/5] at Sunasaki Coast on August 29 2016.
