Geranium L. (フウロソウ)
Akebonofuuro (アケボノフウロ, 曙風露), bloody crane's-bill or bloody geranium,
Lifeform: rhizomatous, perennial forb (hemicryptophyte)
Distribution: Europe and temperate Asia (extotic to Japan)
Habitat: grassland, sand dunes and open woodland on calcareous soils, including rocky slopes (in the native regions)
Fruit: schizocarp
Seed dispersal: autochory (self-dispersal) using sun heat
