Ezo-ukogi (エゾウコギ, 蝦夷五加木), Siberian ginseng or Devil bush
Lifeform: deciduous shrub ≈ 2-3 m tall
Distribution: northeastern China - Far East - eastern Hokkaido
Habitat: forests and forest edges
Leaf: consisting of five leaflets
Use: wild vegetable, medicine (root coat - eleutheroside A and B)
Synonyms:

Eleutherococcus senticosus (Rupr. et Maxim.) Maxim.
