Digitaria Haller (メヒシバ)
Onimehishiba (オニメヒシバ, 鬼雌日芝), hairy crabgrass, hairy finger-grass, large crabgrass, crab finger grass or purple crabgrass
Lifeform: annual grass, as a weed (雑草)
Distribution: originally in Europe → widespread in tropical and temperate regions, incluidng Japan

not reported from Hokkaido

Habitat: grasslands, crop lands and waste lands
Use: used to be a grain in Poland and Germany → cultivated (Polish millet)
Synonyms:
