Satoukaede (サトウカエデ, 砂糖楓), sugar maple
Lifeform: shade-tolerant deciduous tree
Distribution: the North America (introduced to Japan after Meiji Era)
Habitat: hardwood forests, developing the pure stands
Use: timber, street tree, maple syrup (tree sap)

apollo, arrowhead, astis, bonfire,caddo, columnare, fall fiesta, goldspire, green mountain, legacy, lord selkirk, monumentale, sweet shadow, temple upright, and more

Leaf petiole: containing clear sap ↔ white
Winter bud: brown, sharp-tipped ↔ blunt
Bark (樹皮): shaggy (when old) ↔ small grooves
