真正ラベンダー (ラバンデュラ), common, tall or English lavender
Lifeform: evergreen shrub
Distribution: native to Mediterranean region (→ Furano lavender farm is famous in Japan)
Use: gardening, and aromatherapy
Synonyms:

Lavandula officinalis Chaix. → merged with L. angustifolia (タスマニアンラベンダー, s.s.), Tasmanian lavender
Lavandula vera DC.

Cultivars: many → confusing the taxonomy
