Oobasenkyuu (オオバセンキュウ, 大葉川芎), kneeling angelica
Life form: taprooted, perennial forb ≈ 1-2 m tall
Distribution: Japan (north to central Honshu) - Sakhalin - Kuril - Kamchatka - Aleutian - North America (including Alaska)

Field training: nature in sea, lake, volcanoa and forest (海と湖と火山と森林の自然)

Habitat: moist valleys, wetlands, etc.
