Shikotanhakobe (シコタンハコベ, 色丹繁縷), circumpolar starwort
Lifeform: perennial forb < 10-20 cm tall
Distribution: Siberia - Japan (cnetral Honshu and Hokkaido) - Kuril - Kamchatka
Habitat: rocky stretch (scar) in alpine zones → cold-tolerant
Flower: white petals, consisting of five sepals (looking like ten), with red anther
Use: gardening
