Lifeform: perennial forb
Distribution: boreal regions in the Northern Hemisphere, including Japan (Hokkaido - Honshu - Shikoku)
Habitat: forest edge and mesic grassland
Synonyms:

Lysimachia europaea (L.) U.Manns et Anderb.
Trientalis europaea L. f. ramosa Iljinsky

var. arctica (Fisch. ex Hook.) Ledeb.
Kotsumatorisou (コツマトリソウ, 褄取草)
Habitat: bog (Sarobetsu)
Flower = 1.2 cm in diameter ↔ 1.5-2 mm (T. europaea)
