Life form: stoloniferous, evergeen forb

drought-tolerant

Distribution: native to South Island in New Zealand
Habitat: montane and subalpine riverbed and open grassland
Use: gardening (groundcover)
var. nana Bitter, smaller in all its parts, probably a dwarfed subalpine form
Cultivars: blue haze
