Lifeform: perennial forb
Distribution: endemic to Hokkaido, Japan (reported from Shiretoko, Akan, Daisetsu and Yotei)

RDB: endangered species (VU)

Habitat: sunny, unstable ground surface with low plant cover, such as on volcanic deserts
Leaf: three leaflets
Chromosome number: 2n = 56 (8x)
