Lifeform: short, deciduous shrub < 2 m high
Distribution: China - southern Japan (exotic to Hokkaido assigned in Blue List)
Original habitat: sunny rocky surface
Use: gardening, flower arrangement →
Cultivars: many, e.g., Fujino-pinky and Aurea
