Lifeform: perennial sedge < 100 cm high
Distribution: China - Korea - Ussuri - Japan - Sakhalin - Kuril
Habitat: widespread in moist and wet habitats
Spicule: terminal (only one) = male, laterals (3-6) = female
Chromosome number: 2n = 78
