Sapindus L. (ムクロジ)
One species in Japan, that is:
Mukuroji (ムクロジ, 無患子), Chinese soapberry or washnut for the fruit
Lifeform: deciduous tree
Distribution: northern India - Himalaya - southern China - Taiwan - Japan (south to central Honshu)
Habitat: sunny forest
Leaf: becoming yellow in autumn
Use: plantation (poison → cleanser/insecticide)
