Lifeform: deciduous tree
Distribution: Native to China and Taiwan (imported and naturalized in southern Japan)
Habitat: escaped, and often seen at riversides
Seed dispersal: animal (bird)
Synonyms:

Sapium sebiferum (L.) Roxb.
Seborium sebiferum (L.) Hurus.
