Lifeform: short-rhizomatous, evergreen fern
Distribution: Himaraya - India - east Asia, including Japan (south to Kanto District)
Habitat: rocky slopes, cliffs, etc. (more in limestone regions)
Leaf: clear dentation
Reproduction: apogamy
