Lifeform: summergreen, perennial fern
Distribution: southern and eastern Asia - Australia - New Zealand
Habitat: mosit sites, including crop fields (in Japan) - near fumaroles with warm soils in the case of Hokkaido
Chromosome number: 2n ≈ probably 960-1100 Synonyms:

Ophioglossum pedunculosum sensu Allan
Ophioglossum reticulatum L.
