Paulownia Siebold et Zucc. (キリ)
Kiri (キリ, 桐), empress tree, princess tree or foxglove tree
Lifeform: fast-growing, deciduous, short tree ≈ 10 m tall
Origin: propably in China (transplnted to south to southern Hokkaido in Japan
Habitat: sometimes naturalized on roadsides and open lands
Seed: wind-dispersal by wings

Use: wood fro furniture (high class), with low wood density ≈ 0.3
Chromosome number: 2n = 40
