Leptospermum J. R. Forster et G. Forster (ネズモドキ) Gyoryubai (ギョリュウバイ, 御柳梅), manuka, manuka myrtle, New Zealand teatree or broom tea-tree Etymology of Japanese: gyoryu = leaf similar with Tamarix tenuissima + bai = flower with plum (Prunus mume) Lifeform: prolific, evergreen shrub with 2-5 m in height

Distribution: endemic to southeast Australia and New Zealand Habitat: lowland to subalpine areas, especially in open slopes, river banks, forest margins, and scrub Use: honey, hedge (cvs. Kiwi, Nichollsii Nanum, Red Damask and Silver Sheen)
