Lifeform: rhizomatous, prennial forb
Distribution: endemic to the island of Honshu
Habitat: the Pacific coast, where it often grows on ocean cliffs
Chromosome number: 2n = 90

Chrysanthemum marginatum Matsum., excl. syn.
Dendranthema pacificum (Nakai) Kitam.
