Lifeform: bushy, multi-branched flowering annual forb
Distribution: central America (south central Texas and northern Mexico)
Habitat: anthropogenic (man-made or disturbed habitats), meadows and fields
Chromosome number: 2n = 16, 24, 32 or 40
Use: a cultivars, Golden Dawn, for gardening (as summertime plant) Synonyms:
