Lifeform: evergreen dwarf tree
Distribution: Japan (except Shikoku and Ryuku) - Sakhalin - Kuril
Habitat: sunny sites in coastal zones, such as sand dunes
Tolerance: tidal salt, drought
Chromosomee number: 2n = 22
Use: groundcover for gardening
Synonyms:

Juniperus rigida Siebold et Zucc. ssp. conferta (Parl.) Kitam.
