Himekingyosou (ヒメキンギョソウ, 姫金魚草), purple toadflax
Yanagi-unran (ヤナギウンラン, 柳海蘭) ⇒ L. maroccana Hook. f.

Sometimes called Murasaki-unran (ムラサキウンラン), especially, for gardening

Lifeform: annual forb
Distribution: native to the Mediterranean

Japan: introduced in Meiji Era

Habitat: roadsides, etc., basically escaped from gardening
Utilization: cultivated as an ornamental plant

Flower: red, pink, yellow, white, etc. → many cultivars

Synonyms:

Linaria maroccana Hook. f., when not separated
