Lifeform: deciduous tree < 30 m tall
Distribution: native to central Europe and southwest Asia

Biologically-invasive species to the North America

Habitat: forests
Bark (樹皮): grey-brown, shallowly grooved
Use: street tree, wood (furniture and turnery)
Varietites (cultvars):
Crimson King and Schwedleri (dark-purple leaves), Drummondii (variegated leaves), Emerald Queen (light-green leaves), Dissectum and Lorbergii (deeply-divided, feathery leaves), etc.
