Lifeform: ruderal perennial
Distribution: native to eastern North America (exotic to Japan)
Habitat: grasslands, roadsides, etc.

[1] In a crater basin close to the Nishiyama Craters on on October 1 2011. [2-4] at a trail between the Kompira Crater Groups and the park of relics damated by the 2000 eruptions on September 18 2013. I think this plant is expanding its distribution rapidly in the southern part of Hokkaido.
