Life form: nitrogen-fixing, perennial forb
Distribution: native to Europe

introduced to Japan in 1846 (Edo Era)

Habitat: bareground - grassland
Seedbank (埋土種子): developed well
Use: pasture

f. roseum Peterm. (モモイロシロツメクサ)

[1] on July 11 2005, near the 4th crater of Mount Usu (flora). [2-4] at a forest edge near GSEES on July 18 2012. [5] along a mountain trail on the southwestern slope of Mount Koma (flora), southern Hokkaido, on July 10 2018, probably introduced by a road construction work.
