Euonymus L. (ニシキギ)
O-tsuribana (オオツリバナ, 大吊花), flat-stalked spindle tree (the English name should be re-checked)
Lifeform: deciduous shrub or short tree ≈ 2-5 m in height
Distribution: northeastern China - Korea - Japan (north to Chubu District) - southern Kuril
Habitat: on forest floor and along streamsides
Flower: yellow-green, (4-)5 petals
Arillus: orange-red
Synonyms:

Euonymus maximowiczianus (Prokh.) Prokh.
