Himarayatorano-o (ヒマラヤトラノオ, 喜馬亜虎尾), Himalayan Fleeceflower or dwarf fleeceflower
Lifeform: creeping, densely tufted, mat-forming perennial forb
Distribution: Afghanistan - eastern Nepal (3000–4800 m elevation)
Habitat: grassy slopes and rocky fissures
Leaf: developing fine teeth
Synonyms:

Persicaria affinis (D. Don) Ronse Decr., used when Persicaria is established
Bistorta affinis (D. Don) Greene
Polygonum donianum Spreng.

Cultivars: Darjeeling Red, Donald Lowndes, Superba
