Polygonum L. (タデ)
Tsurudokudami (ツルドクダミ, 蔓毒溜), tuber fleeceflower
Lifeform: herbaceous perennial vine, with large tuberous roots
Distribution: originally in central and southern China (exotic to Japan, reported from south to Honshu Island)
Habitat: woods in the original regions (roadsides, crop fields, etc.)
Use: medicine (何首烏) → introduced for medicine and escaped
Synonyms:
