Specimen: Linnean herbarium (S-LINN)
Lifeform: erect perennial forb, developing rhizomes
Distribution: North America and Eurasia, including Honshu and Hokkaido in Japan
Habitat: grasslands, marshes and swamps, especially in cool temperate zone ⇒ wetlands (湿原)
Synonyms:

Naumburgia thyrsiflora (L.) Duby
