Hagumanoki (ハグマノキ, 白熊ノ木), European smoketree, Eurasian smoketree, Venetian sumach Kemurinoki (ケムリノキ, 煙ノ木) Lifeform: well-branching, deciduous shrub or short tree Distribution: southern Europe - Himalaya - northern China Habitat: gravely, dry soils, particularly on south-facing limestone slopes

Utilization: ornamental plant, gardening - several cultivars cv. Flame, Golden Spirit (= Ancot), Royal Purple, Young Lady Synonyms: Rhus cotinus L.
