Amorphophallus Blume ex Decne. (コンニャク)
Shokudai-o-konnyaku (ショクダイオオコンニャク, 燭台大蒟蒻), Titan arum (bunga bangkai in Indoensian)
Lifeform: evergreen, perennial forb
Distribution: endemic to Sumatra in Indonesia
Habitat: tropical rainforests
Flower: pollinated by insects, in particular, carrion beetles, flesh fliess and sweat bees
Seed: dispersed by tropical hornbills
Use: edible corm and leaf stalk after boiling, medicine (treating stomach ailments, fever, swelling, and diarrhea)
