Lifeform: perennial forb, with 30-80 cm tall
Distribution: Japan (north to Tohoku District - Hokkaido) - Sakhalin - Kuril
Habitat: grasslands, forest edges and steam banks in montane and aubalpine zones
Leaf: margin with irregular teeth
Seed dispersal: wind
