Lifeform: well-branched, rhizomatous, perennial forb < 40 cm high
Distribution: China - southern Korea - southern Japan (not in Hokkaido)
Habitat: weedy habits, estabishing on cropfields, roadsides, stone walls. and sparse forests
Leaflet: white spots often developed on the base, as seen on the shoots in Wuhan
Chromosome number: 2n = 14
Use: ornamental
