Setogaya (セトガヤ, 瀬戸茅/背戸茅), Japanese foxtail
Lifeform: weedy annual grass < 60 cm in height
Distribution: China - Japan (south to Kanto District)
Habitat: mesic sites, such as paddy fields
Anther: white (→ A. aequalis: yellow-brown)
